Event: Dissemination of the African Livestock Futures Study
The Study “Realizing the potential of livestock for food security, poverty reduction and the environment in Sub-Saharan Africa” will be presented and disseminated on 28 September, in New York. The focus of the Study is on realizing the potential of livestock for food security, poverty reduction and the environment in Sub-Saharan Africa. This study was undertaken by a research team from the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).
